Wow! No wonder I love bananas so much. Sometimes I could eat 2 or 3! I wonder if one can overdose on bananas? lol I hope not. I was surprised that it said bananas were good for heartburn. I used to eat so many bananas as a child as my father used to bring a big bunch at the time in my native Argentina. In the last few years in England and now in Spain I don’t buy as many as they are always green. Must try greengrocers more.

I really like bananas! There are many points in this post that I didn’t even know about banana’s, i.e. stress eaters and temperature control. What I realized after my performance at the 5K Run/Walk, they had bananas, donuts, and bagels. I chose the banana, because I really wanted something with potassium. The benefits that you gave for physical performance made me think…maybe I should have had that first! Hmmmm. Thanks for sharing!
OK, OK, I’ll go get some bananas! Hubby is quitting smoking – I’ll let him know bananas will help. My only problem is that I don’t like them with spots – any spots. Good thing he’ll eat them a little browner than I will. Thanks for great tips, Liliana!
