I am today 11st 8¼ lbs (162¼lbs) (73.7 Kg)
On the first day of the 500 cals food plan I lost 2¼ no bad. I still have to lose some I put on filling up but I will get there.
HCG Weight Loss – Day 4 – Round 3
I have the sprays at: around 10 am, my second around 2pm and then 8pm and before going to bed.
Then I ate:
- Mid morning: an apple
- Lunch: 100g of fish and a cupful (or mug full) of celery
- Mid afternoon: an orange
- Dinner: 100g of lean beef with a roast onion
I did not feel hungry at all and if anything, and again I forced myself to it at the times planned: 2 pm and 8 pm.
I drank a liter of water and two liters of yerba mate.
I still feel great and feel so determined.
What Proteins to include
Simeons is very specific in which protein to have:
100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed raw from the bird.
He also says:
Many patients ask why eggs are not allowed. The contents of two good sized eggs are roughly equivalent to 100 grams of meat, but fortunately the yolk contains a large amount of fat, which is undesirable. Very occasionally we allow egg – boiled, poached or raw – to patients who develop an aversion to meat, but in this case they must add the white of three eggs to the one they eat whole. In countries where cottage cheese made from skimmed milk is available 100 grams may occasionally be used instead of the meat, but no other cheeses are allowed.
Strict vegetarians such as orthodox Hindus present a special problem, because milk and curds are the only animal protein they will eat. To supply them with sufficient protein of animal origin they must drink 500 cc of skimmed milk per day, though part of this ration can be taken as curds.
He doesn’t cater really for vegetarians except for these two sources of protein, obviously a vegan won’t be able to follow this diet.
I can find shrimps in Spain but I just decided to do what I did in past rounds and have:
- Fish
- Beef
- Chicken
It might sound boring but I am quite happy with it as I just want to lose the weight without much fuss.
HCG Tip of the Day
Another Technique if you need a boost and want to avoid coffee or tea due to the caffeine:
Gently rub a point which is about three inches below the kneecap along the outside edge of the shin bone. It is right below the spot where the two bones of the leg meet. Massage on both legs.
Healthy Tip of the Day
Try a glass of hot milk with a small pinch of ground nutmeg if you can’t sleep. The amino acids in the milk acts like a natural sedative. (Don’t bring the milk to a boil; take it off the burner just as it starts to sizzle round the edges, if you’re heating it on the stovetop.)
