My Day
I seem to have put ½ lb yesterday must have been the salt in the pate. That’s why I don’t like processed foods, you don’t have control over the amount of salt. I do not normally add salt to my food so salt really affects me.
I had a banana and an orange for my fruit. I try to vary my fruit from Oranges and Apples as I normally have them while having HCG but really here in Spain, the fruit they sell is seasonal fruit and there seems to be a lot of apples and oranges. Providing my HCG arrives on time and I can start my Round 3 by 15th February, I don’t think I will have problems finding apples and oranges.
In the evening I had some salad and fish. Again I did not eat much, but remember you need to eat when in Consolidation/Stabilization or you might put weight on due to protein deficiency.

I collect diet related interesting comments I come across on the net and I never reveal the person name at the forum for ethical reasons. I found this one today and I agree 100%
We DID have oranges back in the 50’s. We DID have broccoli and Cauliflower in the 50s. Dr. Simeons said (this I read) that he found those items and many others that self-proclaimed “experts” on the HCG diet have added in our century, are not the BEST for his protocol.
Sure you WILL lose eating that stuff if you have over 40 lbs to lose, but you WILL lose less. It is up to the individual person if they want to add things NOT on his plan, thus loosing less weight. There are people who lose 40 lbs on the 40 days, and these people were actually only 40 lbs from their goal…. and lost it all in one shot.
I DOUBT they deviated from Dr. Simeons plan AT ALL.
I was thinking that due to Leslie Kenton’s book I was having broccoli last time and broccoli is not on the diet. I will have cauliflower this time. I noticed I did lose better in 2009.
Tip of the day
Drink more water when exercising – at least 1 ½ cups. More if your exercise is aerobic. If you have diarrhea, be sure to keep up your water intake – dehydration is the biggest danger (particularly with the elderly). Drink more in hot weather, too.
