I am sure if you have not heard about hCG before you will do due diligence by searching on the net, be careful because this weight loss cure has been modified by many. I promise you that my blog will follow faithfully Dr Simeons’ paper as I believe why alter perfection. I will point out where I have altered or added something.
You must leave aside anything you know about diets. This is a new ball game. Just trust the diet like I did. Keep reading the free Pounds and Inches because every time I read it, I learn something new. I also found out why I did not keep my weight off after 2009: I was at the middle of my menopause and Simeons say that is the most at risk group of not maintaining the weight. Also you will hear about Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 and Phase 4. Well Phase 1 does not exist in the original diet, it was added by Kevin Trudeau. Phase 2 is simple the HCG Protocol or in this blog under the section How I did it. Phase 3 and Phase 4 are simply consolidation.

You also have to take into account that hCG has had many criticism, hCG is a natural hormone and cannot be patented and the pharmaceutical companies are against it, in case they lose the billions that they make in the weight loss industry.
hCG is not like steroids and it is not illegal and not a federally controlled substance, but the FDA has not approved it for use for weight loss. It is approved for infertility treatment and a rare disease in young boys. It is not illegal for doctors to prescribe it for what is called off-label use. Doctors have that option at their discretion, although HMO doctors are unlikely to prescribe anything for off-label use due to the restrictions placed by the HMOs. Dr Daniel Oscar Belluscio M.D. mentioned in Kevin Trudeau’s book and based in Argentina, has developed a method to administer hCG using sublingual drops. Click HERE for his website in English. Unless you want to travel to Argentina, which I recommend wholeheartely as it is my country of birth, you will have to prepare your own sublingual hCG.

Plateau
You can use this cure if you have not lost weight on 4 or more days. Please do not use to correct indulgences. It is called “Apple day”. An Apple day begins at lunch and continues till just before lunch of the following day. You can eat up to 6 apples and only drink water to quench your thirst, no other food or drinks that day.

The Diet Plan
This diet is not like any other diets. I put weight in 2010 when I tried to do it to lose the last 11 lbs and due to personal problems (I am an emotional eater) I cheated and truly put weight on disproportionately. You really need to put aside between 24 and 41 days (the diet without filling up days) without any divergence. Believe me it is worth it! If for some reason you need to stop early, I advise only after you’ve done for 21 days you must have 3 days without HCG and the diet plan.
This diet doesn’t need to be expensive as long as you eat cheaper cut of meats (all fat removed) and really I’ve done for ease with frozen vegetables. Some people gets bored but just look at the final result. Use lemon, vinegar and herbs to vary your meal. You can have always the vegetarian option a whole egg and 3 egg whites. You can use the yolk to make mayonnaise for your family!
BREAKFAST | Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar.Herbal teas. I drink Yerba Mate.Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours.Stevia only as sweetener should be used.Dr Simeons says saccharine or any other sweetener but current research on healthy eating only advises stevia. |
LUNCH | 1)100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp.All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. This is very important! It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be skinless.Some people researching and doing this diet have added 100g canned tuna in brine as an option. I have tried it and I don’t feel right about it, because Dr Simeons, specifically prohibits tuna. Vegetarian option: 1 full egg and 3 egg whites. Leslie Kenton adds a shake of whey protein2) One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: Asparagus – 2 cups Beet-greens – 2 cups Broccoli – 2 cups Cabbage – 2 cups Celery – 2 cups Chicory – 2 cups Cucumbers – 2 cups Fennel – 1.5 cups Green salad – 2 cups Kale – 2 cups Lettuce – 2 cups (any kind) Onions – 1 cup Red radishes – 1 cup Rocket – 2 cups Spinach – 2 cups Swiss Chard – 2 cups (I eat a lot of it as it is widely available) Tomatoes – 1 cup I have added broccoli so far successfully. (2 cups). Do mix green and red cabbages. Mix different greens for a salad. 3) One breadstick (grissini) or one Melba toast. 4) A medium apple, or a medium orange, or a handful of strawberries (have about 10) Or one-half grapefruit. |
