We all know that we have to eat healthier. Being prepared is the key to it. Every time I went off eating healthily it was due to not planning. Planning is the key for everything in life.
I think it is so important that kids are brought up on healthy snacks, as charity begins at home so do healthy eating habits!
I’ve decided for today’s blog post to come up with 31 ideas of healthy snacks – to cover a month
- Fruit salads topped with plain. sugar free yogurt or I love plain cottage cheese.
- Fresh fruit juices – homemade preferably – if you buy, read the labels for added sugar and other nasties.
- Homemade frozen juice bars.
- Dry fruits like raisins or apricots.
- Dates make great snacks.
- Nuts such as walnuts, pecan and unsalted peanuts – many more. I personally love peanuts which I buy “raw” and roast them at home.

- Sunflower seeds – I roast my seeds and I mix the three seeds

I love smoothies and plain nut bars. Clementine oranges work well too.
